Who we are
JuiceWeb.Site, 6 Lindara Park, Larne, BT40 2GD, United Kingdom. Email: admin@juiceweb.site. We are responsible for the personal data described here.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries and plaque requests. If you use a form or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send (for example your name, phone number, business name and address). We use it to reply, arrange a plaque or service, and keep business records. Forms on this site open a pre-filled WhatsApp message on your device; nothing is sent until you press send.
- Plaque taps. When someone taps or scans a JuiceWeb plaque we record the plaque number, the time, a simple device type (iPhone/iPad, Android or Other) and a one-day scrambled code made from the visitor's connection details. The code is built with a key that changes every day and the old key is discarded, so it can only show that the same visitor tapped more than once on the same day and cannot be traced back to a person later. We do not store your IP address or full device details. We use this to give our clients accurate tap counts.
- Client set-up details. For each plaque we hold the business name, its Google review link and its starting review count.
- Server logs. Our web host may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to run and secure the service.
Our reasons (UK GDPR): taking steps you ask for before a contract, performing a contract, and our legitimate interests in running and securing the business and reporting accurate tap counts.
Who else sees data
- WhatsApp (Meta): carries messages you send us.
- Google Fonts: loads fonts when you open our pages, so those providers receive your IP address.
- api.qrserver.com: generates QR images on the review-engine page, so it receives your IP address.
- Our web host: stores the site and its data.
We do not sell personal data.
Cookies
The public pages do not set cookies of their own. The staff-only portal uses a session cookie to keep staff signed in.
How long we keep data
Enquiry messages: while needed to deal with your enquiry and keep business records, then deleted. Tap records and client set-up details: while the client uses the service, then deleted when it ends unless we must keep them for records.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to move it. Email admin@juiceweb.site. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We will update this page and its date if our practices change.
